Science Fair with Steve Wozniak

The Comic-Con Science Fair, organized by Junior Entrepreneurs Hub and featuring Apple Co-founder Steve Wozniak, brought together creativity, technology, and innovation under one roof. Hosted at the San Jose Convention Center during Silicon Valley Comic-Con, the event celebrated the spirit of invention and inspired hundreds of young minds to explore science and technology through imagination and play.

Event Summary
Over 200 students (ages 10–18) from across California participated in the two-day fair, presenting projects that merged STEM, robotics, art, and storytelling. Participants showcased prototypes, experiments, and creative tech innovations — from AI-powered gadgets to eco-friendly solutions — to a panel of judges that included engineers, educators, and innovators from leading Silicon Valley companies.

Steve Wozniak personally toured student booths, interacted with participants, and shared motivational stories about his own journey as a young inventor. His presence created a once-in-a-lifetime experience that deeply inspired students and parents alike.

“The Comic-Con Science Fair was absolutely unforgettable for our family. My son spent weeks preparing his robotics project, but seeing him present it in front of engineers — and then having Steve Wozniak stop by his booth — was beyond anything we imagined.
He came home more confident, motivated, and genuinely excited about science. The experience not only helped him find his passion for engineering but also became a highlight in his college application. I’m so grateful for how this program turned learning into such an inspiring, real-world experience.”

Sarah Thompson, Parent of 15-year-old participant
